It is one of the natural perennial springs, especially active during the autumn season due to the increase in water levels in the aquifers. Its water levels relatively decrease in other seasons. The site where the waterfalls flow has been enhanced to facilitate tourists' access to the bottom of the slope where the water cascades down.
Located approximately 30 kilometers away from Salalah city, it can be reached via the road leading to Taqah Governorate and then through the Nashib Mountain roundabout.
- Athum Waterfalls are, (short distance from Ayn Tubraq), among the most beautiful waterfalls in Dhofar Governorate, flowing vigorously during the autumn season with a height of about 20 meters.
There are seating areas for relaxation and enjoying the beauty of the waterfalls in the heart of the valley. Additionally, there is a stone-paved walkway adorned with trees on the sides, along with stalls selling pastries, sweets, corn, children's toys, and more.
