Mirbat is a coastal town located in the Dhofar Governorate of Oman,( 70 km east of Salalah) . Historically, it has been an important port for trade, particularly in the export of frankincense, which has been a significant commodity in the region for centuries. Today, Mirbat is known for its picturesque coastal scenery, including sandy beaches and rocky cliffs. The drive from Salalah Airport takes about an hour.
